（1）发展目标：

第一，建构国内外同行业一流水平的特色学科。

第二，打造中国民族民间舞教学、编创和科研一体的名师队伍。

第三，培养中国民族民间舞表演、教学、编创和研究多维发展的创新型人才。

第四，完备中国具有代表性的民族民间舞教材体系。

第五，建设具有较高学术水平的中国民族民间舞研究中心。

 

Mission statement

2. To have world-class faculty members in teaching, choreography and research
3. To cultivate artists in dance performance and pedagogy
4. To establish a unique Chinese folk dance curriculum

（2）文化功能：

以中国各民族民俗舞蹈文化为基础，以本土文化特征为依据，以中国民族民间舞蹈本体建设为目标，在世界民族民间舞蹈文化发展研究的基础上，完善当代中国民族民间舞蹈的学科体系，保持学科的前沿地位。

 

 

Cultural functions

Based on chinese traditional and folk dance cultures, the department shoulders responsibilities for perfecting Chinese folk dance teaching system and comparing with other ethnic dance cultures around the world.

 

 

（3）服务面向：

立足首都、面向全国，服务于中国特色的社会主义民族舞蹈文化建设。同时，向世界传播中国民族舞蹈文化。

 

 

Service functions

Mainly do service learning for Beijing and national wide and help build chinese folk dance culture with Chinese characteristics. Meanwhile, promote Chinese folk dance culture around the world .
